Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. Who We Are

My Prayer Cards (“My Prayer Cards”, “we”, “us”) is the operator of the website and service available at myprayercards.app (“the Service”). In these Terms, “My Prayer Cards” is the trading name under which the Service is provided. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

My Prayer Cards provides tools to create, generate, and share prayer cards. Some features require account registration; others are available to guest users.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create using the Service. By sharing prayer cards publicly (e.g., on the Prayer Wall), you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display that content within the Service.

You agree not to post content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

Retention of prayer and social cards

  • Guest users: prayer cards and social cards created without an account are automatically deleted 24 hours after they are created.
  • Registered users: prayer cards and social cards created while signed in are retained for 30 days from creation, after which they are automatically deleted.
  • You may delete your account and all associated content at any time from Account Settings. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. We keep a minimal record of the deletion request (account identifier and timestamp) for administrative and audit purposes.

4. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, logos, card templates, and software, is owned by My Prayer Cards and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary assets without permission.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Prayer Cards shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Payments, Donations and Refunds

Donations and any paid features offered through the Service are sold by My Prayer Cards via our online reseller, Paddle. Prices are shown in the currency presented at checkout and may include applicable taxes. Donations are one-time payments and are not recurring unless explicitly stated.

The payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics of your purchase are governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms. Our refund window and process is set out in our Refund Policy.

11. Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
